Fedora OS

The OS I currently run (on machines where I get to choose) is Fedora Workstation 27, a Linux distribution originally derived from RedHat Linux. I find it to be a fast, stable, highly configurable and useful OS that provides all of the features I need for my work, play, and creative pursuits.

Though I like it, Fedora is a bit developer-and-hacker-centric. If you don’t care about having the latest Linux kernels and developer tools installed, and especially if you’re new to Linux, I would recommend a distribution that updates at a slower pace, such as Ubuntu Desktop.

This page remains a collection of information and tips that I find useful. If you made your way here, I hope that you find it useful, too!

Installing nVidia Drivers on Fedora

The most valuable resource that I’ve been able to find on the Web is the Fedora 25/24/23 nVidia Drivers Install Guide at if !1 0 (dot com).
